Frea studied Fine Art, Printmaking at Central Saint Martins and more recently passed her Masters degree with Distinction in Print at UWE in Bristol. Frea now teaches screenprinting to students at UWE. Frea's latest work retains the precision and technique of screenprinting but adopts an improvisational method more like drawing or painting to produce series' of unique prints. They are visual representations of processes and behaviours rather than objects.
Since graduating in 2006 she has been a member of Spike Print Studio, this has given her the opportunity to exhibit regularly at the May Open and to take part in art fairs such as Multiplied, which is a fantastic and exciting experience and vital in establishing her as a print based artist.
In 2014 Frea's work was selected for the Summer Exhibition at the Royal Academy in London. She has also been chosen by Norman Ackroyd to represent the best of this years print from the RA in an exhibition to be held at the Zillah Bell Gallery in Yorkshire.
